Easy One Skillet Creamy Cilantro Lime Chicken

The Easy cìlantro lìme chìcken skìllet is creamy and flavored and made in the comfort of your skìllet, making it the perfect 20 minute dinner.

  • 2 tablespoons chopped cìlantro cìlantro
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon of oil of choice
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed or minced
  • 1 cup chìcken broth water can also be used
  • Juice of 1 liter or 2 tablespoons
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream or half and half or sour cream or Greek yogurt


  1. In a large sturdy pan, heat oil over medium heat. Generously season the chìcken with salt and pepper, then add the chìcken and cook for 7 to 8 minutes, turning once or until the chìcken is cooked. Remove the chìcken from the skillet and cover with aluminum foil on a separate plate, set aside.
  2. Add the onions to the same pan (without washing) and cook for 1 minute. Add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds only. Add chicken broth, fruit juice, clantlant, flaked red peppers and salt and pepper to taste. Bring to a soft bowl for 8-10 minutes or until reduced by 1/4 cup.
  3. Whip the cream for the last few minutes. Turn off the heat and put the chìcken back in the sauce. Garnish with more clantlant. Serve with a few vegetables or steamed vegetables. Enjoy!
